Assessment of Systems and Internal Controls
We conduct assessments of entities’ systems and internal control mechanisms, offering suggestions for improvement.
Any organization, whether it has profit or not-for-profit objectives, depends on systems for maintaining records to ultimately generate accounts. If those systems have weaknesses, then figures presented in accounts might not be reliable.
We perform evaluations on the effectiveness of internal controls established by the entity. Covered aspects may include compliance with fiscal filing regulations, reasonableness, rationale and precision of accounting estimates, an effective reporting system, degree of dependence on clients and suppliers, whether management possesses the necessary information for analysis, traceability and accountability and other risks that are associated with the current systems in place in the entity.
